The '''ARDG Scroll Wheel Theorem''' is a reoccurring bit of a hypothesized line of reasoning linked by differing cases. The general proposition, or theorem, is that members of ARDG will inevitably be victim to malfunctioning scroll wheels, all seemingly happening one after another closely within each case's relevance window.

The "progenitor" of this theorem was due to a notable case of a malfunctioning scroll wheel by Mint occurring back on January 29th of 2024 at around 03:39. However, the oldest recorded case of a broken scroll wheel was back on January 20th of 2023. Ever since then, multiple other instances have occurred where this theorem is true.

Paskeentus is a role in [[ARDG]] given to those who have displayed a period of activity noticeable by others with the same role. Once given, it isn't removed until the user in question must be completely disconnected from ARDG. It's functionally an "admin" role with little to no pre-requisites.

The name originates from a Minecraft Spigot server that predates the creation of ARDG (est. 2019)—same with [[Skabingus]]. The role for admin players was titled "[PSKN] Paskeentus", though the etymology of the word overall is uncertain. There's no real science behind the word; as far as anyone knows, it was probably named that because of how funny it sounds. The farthest the word's origins can be traced back to is Halo, who most likely made it herself considering she "invented" the word "bagingus" as well.

Skabingus is a role in [[ARDG]] given to those who choose to hold it. Once given, it isn't removed until the user in question chooses to remove it. It's functionally a moderator role with no pre-requisites on it, and allows the user to see the rest of the 100+ channels ARDG has.

Originally, this role had to be manually given out via those with [[Paskeentus]]. It also had the same requirement of "be active", though the "required" amount of time was smaller.

The name originates from a Minecraft Spigot server that predates the creation of ARDG (est. 2019)—same as Paskeentus. Anarchy Roombath Domain of Gloob is the full name of the Discord server this entire wiki is about. It is more commonly abbreviated and known as "ARDG", though it is occasionally regarded to as either "Anarchy", "Gloob", or "Gloobus".

The most notable fact about the creation of ARDG is that it was made during the COVID-19 quarantine of 2020, about 4 months after it was considered in motion, on May 8th of 2020.

At first, a server titled [[REDACTED]] (hosted by [[Mint]]) (sometimes referred to as [R]) served as the primary hub for a handful of people. It had a runtime of about 2 years on its own, but due to what was essentially lack of faith in his own creation and those who used it, Mint ended up making another server that was meant to be a smaller, more casual version of [REDACTED].

The server started as yet another installment of his "[[another server]]" set of servers, but eventually drifted off into being its own thing. It's uncertain why this happened; it could be for a number of reasons.

At the time of the server's creation, it didn't exactly have a proper name planned. The primary idea behind the server, however, was its lack of moderation (especially in relation to [R]), a key factor in its naming. There was little to no science involved in naming the server; to anyone's recollection, it's just a conglomerate of a bunch of randomly assembled words, with the only requirement being the use of the word "anarchy". The most unique word is "[[Gloob]]", which was in reference to the character of the same name made by Jester (JpepWepy) in the game "Totally Reliable Delivery Service".

The oldest documented mention of the name is on September 26th of 2020. Like many other things within this server, however, it could've been mentioned in a voice chat far before it was properly typed out.

== Server Idea ==
ARDG was built to be a more casual, less moderated server, made with the idea of giving more customizable freedom to everyone instead of only those with and above the "moderator" role. Knowing the risk of "yes this gives everyone the ability to destroy the entire server if they wanted to", it started off as a much smaller server than what [[REDACTED]] was at the time. The only true rule in the server is an unspoken one, where you must have "common sense" (or, in other words, be a good person to those around you).

Moderation is extremely loose in ARDG, especially with this given context. This was intentionally done to make "getting into the server" easier to do as there's not a ton of pressure from "following the rules" or anything of the sort.

== Form and Layout ==

The "heart" of the server was innovated by Mint, where the voice chats (as well as the voice chat text chat, before Discord implemented VC-specific text chats) reside at the top of the channel list instead of at the bottom, so people can see where most of the activity is at.

In terms of layout, ARDG still follows a "standard" Discord server layout—or at least, what's considered conventional—containing the usual #general chat, as well as other chats for memes and art and whatnot (under unconventional names). What tends to intimidate many others, however, is the amount of channels in ARDG.

There is, for example, a larger category of chats specifically made for interest-specific things. It originally consisted of 5 or so chats, but over time grew to be more than 30. On top of that only being a section of the server's channel count, people are allowed to create their own "thread" if they wish as well (also done before Discord added per-channel Threads). This gives them free reign over one designated chat, as long as they still follow the general "common sense" rule. Restricting it to only certain people is also allowed, as long as it isn't excluding other people in bad faith.

Along with some other miscellaneous categories, ARDG's channel count totals more than 130 channels. To help getting around this, all new members are only given access to about 14. If they wish to, however, they can pick up the [[Skabingus]] role to "open access" to the rest of the server. Alternatively, they can just ask for/allow themselves permission to specific channels as well. Others tend to pick up the role and mute all the other channels they don't look at.

== Aesthetic ==

The aesthetic of ARDG is never consistent. More specifically, the name of the server, as well as its icon and banner, is subject to change by anyone at any moment. What tends to stay consistent (at least nowadays) is the fact that "ARDG" (not always together, sometimes separated) remains in the server name.

To try and preserve the history of the server and what it goes through, all different iterations of the layout are stored into one chat: #this-isnt-my-final-form. The name is a jab at Dragon Ball characters (though this can go generally) who tend to have an obscene amount of forms they go through. While not every iteration is present in the channel (some are actually lost to time; oops!), it is the closest to an accurate timeline representation of the server.

This gives them free reign over one designated chat, as long as they still follow the general "common sense" rule. Restricting it to only certain people is also allowed, as long as it isn't excluding other people in bad faith.

Along with some other miscellaneous categories, ARDG's channel count totals **more than 130 channels**. To help getting around this, all new members are only given access to about 14. If they wish to, however, they can pick up the [[Skabingus]] role to "open access" to the rest of the server. Alternatively, they can just ask for/allow themselves permission to specific channels as well. Others tend to pick up the role and mute all the other channels they don't look at.

The aesthetic of ARDG is never consistent. More specifically, the name of the server, as well as its icon and banner, is subject to change by anyone at any moment. What tends to stay consistent (at least nowadays) is the fact that "ARDG" (not always together, sometimes separated) remains in the server name.

To try and preserve the history of the server and what it goes through, all different iterations of the layout are stored into one chat: \#this-isnt-my-final-form. The name is a jab at Dragon Ball characters (though this can go generally) who tend to have an obscene amount of forms they go through. While not every iteration is present in the channel (some are actually lost to time. oops!), it is the closest to an accurate timeline representation of the server.

Anarchy Roombath Domain of Gloob is the full name of the Discord server this entire wiki is about. It is more commonly abbreviated and known as "ARDG", though it is occasionally regarded to as either "Anarchy", "Gloob", or "Gloobus".

The most notable fact about the creation of ARDG is that it was made during the COVID-19 quarantine of 2020, about 4 months after it was considered in motion, on May 8th of 2020.

At first, a server titled [[REDACTED]] (hosted by [[Mint]]) (sometimes referred to as [R]) served as the primary hub for a handful of people. It had a runtime of about 2 years on its own, but due to what was essentially lack of faith in his own creation and those who used it, Mint ended up making another server that was meant to be a smaller, more casual version of [REDACTED].

The server started as yet another installment of his "[[another server]]" set of servers, but eventually drifted off into being its own thing. It's uncertain why this happened; it could be for a number of reasons.

At the time of the server's creation, it didn't exactly have a proper name planned. The primary idea behind the server, however, was its lack of moderation (especially in relation to [R]), a key factor in its naming. There was little to no science involved in naming the server; to anyone's recollection, it's just a conglomerate of a bunch of randomly assembled words, with the only requirement being the use of the word "anarchy". The most unique word is "[[Gloob]]", which was in reference to the character of the same name made by Jester (JpepWepy) in the game "Totally Reliable Delivery Service".

The oldest documented mention of the name is on September 26th of 2020. Like many other things within this server, however, it could've been mentioned in a voice chat far before it was properly typed out.

== Server Idea ==
ARDG was built to be a more casual, less moderated server, made with the idea of giving more customizable freedom to everyone instead of only those with and above the "moderator" role. Knowing the risk of "yes this gives *everyone* the ability to destroy the entire server if they wanted to", it started off as a much smaller server than what [[REDACTED]] was at the time. The only true rule in the server is an unspoken one, where you must have "common sense" (or, in other words, be a good person to those around you).

Moderation is extremely loose in ARDG, especially with this given context. This was intentionally done to make "getting into the server" easier to do as there's not a ton of pressure from "following the rules" or anything of the sort.

== Form and Layout ==

The "heart" of the server was innovated by Mint, where the voice chats (as well as the voice chat text chat, before Discord implemented VC-specific text chats) reside at the top of the channel list instead of at the bottom, so people can see where most of the activity is at.
